The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens is a 55-acre tropical paradise located just minutes away from the gorgeous beaches of Port St. Lucie, FL. The gardens offer visitors a tranquil place to swim, hike, and relax with friends and family during any season of the year. The gardens were founded in 1985 by the City of Port St. Lucie in an effort to preserve Florida’s unique ecosystem for future generations.

If you love lush and tranquil gardens, you will love the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. The garden features over 14 different types of ecosystems, including swamps, tidal marshes, and mangrove forests, as well as native plants like Spanish moss and air potatoes.


There is a special focus on tropical plants such as orchids, bromeliads, and heliconias. The gardens also have a butterfly garden, a nature trail, and a children’s play area.
