Stuart Air Show

The Stuart Air Show is an annual event that celebrates the military and aviation. This is a popular regional event across Martin County that happens at Witham Field in Stuart, Florida. The show’s main purpose is to provide schools and children the opportunity to learn more about aviation and American history. The show is partnered with several charities to help fundraise for good causes. These are charities like the United Way of Martin Country, Civil Air Patrol, and the Special Olympics. There are up to 12 charities that benefit from the fundraising efforts each year.

The Stuart Air Show is set over three days and hosts many notable performers each year. There are a variety of static displays for historically significant vehicles and aircraft. As well as in-air displays the event is a must-visit if you're a Martin County local or visiting the area. Among the vehicles that have been displayed previously is the Douglas DC-3, a World War II transport vehicle. The C-47 Tico Belle was used during the D-Day invasion.

It’s not just aviation on offer at the Stuart Air Show, they have a motocross event that happens as well. The Stuart Air Show is one of the biggest events that happen on the Treasure Coast. It’s a place for military and aviation lovers to gather and learn more about the future of aviation.

The Stuart Air Show has a scholarship grant that was developed by Elisabeth Glynn in 2015. The scholarships provide support for students with a keen interest in the armed forces or in Aviation. Thanks to its fundraising and charitable donations many local interest groups benefit from the support. The Stuart Police Explorer Post 898 benefits from a donation that helps to send explorers to the Law Enforcement Explorer Academy.
